The Abayima initiative was born in Uganda in 2011 when politicians used mobile networks, which have become a primary tool of activists, against those who sought to use them. Our goal is to provide 'liberation technologies' and solutions that empower citizens when oppressive regimes use tech infrastructure against the public.
